The Baltic Sea is an underwater adventure that begins from the microscopic foundations of our sea. Microscopic plankton, invisible to the human eye, is the basis for life on earth as we know it. We explore the creatures of the sea using cutting edge microscopic and computed tomography tools. As we travel through the ecosystem, we encounter a variety of brackish water life on our way up to us – humans. Tens of millions of humans inhabit the coastlines of the sea and we are inevitably a big player in the whole ecosystem.
