Project: High-quality Photogrammetry Workflow
Goal: Learn a workflow for producing high quality 3D assets from real-world objects. Get familiar with efficient workflow and pick the right equipment for data capture, practice processing the images to get the most out of the raw data. Learn suitable software (Meshroom for its open source access and RealityCapture for its speed high quality) and export high quality models for further optimization or for use as-is depending on the end-product.
Below is a selection of renders from Blender with various assets. Mushrooms, trees and rocks are scanned objects, plants are modeled based on reference photographs at scan sites.
